Astrid Madimba and Chinny Ukata are the co-founders and hosts of It’s a Continent, a podcast focusing on African history and current affairs. The podcast was recognised as the 25th most popular history podcast in 2020, and has been mentioned in the Guardian, BBC Radio, and PodBible. Previous guests on the show have included Professor Kehinde Andrews and Togolese political activist Farida Nabourema.

They are currently writing It’s a Continent (2022) due for release in Summer 2022. The book has been included in Bustle’s 12 Books By British Women Of Colour To Look Out For in 2022, and has been listed as ‘One to watch’ in the Bookseller.
